We love Pirate's Cove, part of the parks district of nearby Elk Grove. It's like someone took Hershey Park and shrunk everything to toddler size. No rambunctious big kids in sight. Admission is less than a movie and grown-ups are free! There's a potato sack slide, trains, crafts, shows, a bouncy house and vintage carousel among other fun things to do. Although there's no picture (Baba was too nervous) Romy rode a carousel horse all by herself this visit.
