Bryn and Jeff to the Rescue
Our extra-deep, pillow-top mattress sitting atop an elevated sleigh bed may make for an excellent night's sleep. That is, if you can get to it. After abdominal surgery, climbing atop our bed has been quite painful for Emily. So it was clear that some sort of footstool or stepladder was needed. Problem: I'm 6'4", so stepladders generally aren't needed. Problem: with over a foot of snow, getting to the store wasn't gonna be easy. Fortunately for us, Bryn and Jeff came to our rescue! They went to Target and purchased a stepladder for us! Why? 'Cause they're the best...
Day Four, Back to Business
You can't see the computer screen in front of me, but it's still finals period at the law school, and so I spent a portion of my day studying for my White Collar Crime final with my new study group. The kid's only four days old, and already he understands the difference between a RICO Conspiracy charge, and a Conspiracy charge with RICO as the predicate offense better than I do.

Last Update of the Day
Off to Wegmen's to stock up on supplies before the next snowstorm. Baby was born right before the first storm, and should be home right before the next one. The kid may not have a name yet, but clearly he has timing.

Back to the hospital after a return to our apartment. With a blizzard on the way Saturday night, it's a race against to the clock to see if we can bring the little guy home...

How many mothers text-message soon after delivery? I'm guessing two. In Emily's defense, she text messaged only because our access to Facebook is limited in the hospital room.
