Parade!

We finished up our first day at California Adventure and then headed over to Disneyland proper for the evening parade. Mommy (who usually doesn't care for parades) was really impressed with how many dancers there were for all the floats, especially in the off-season.  Collin loved waving, though he was a little shy around the princesses.

The following video of Mama yelling at Collin is the favorite of the trip for the kids.  They love to watch it and make fun of poor Mama.

 Collin passed out on the hotel floor during our afternoon break:

Romy was in shock when she met Minnie and never took her hands off her awestruck mouth.

Dreams of Mermaids

Collin's favorite ride was the Little Mermaid ride at California Adventure.  He and Baba went on it at least 6 times and even got stuck once. 

We went on this ride next.  There was a slightly brutish boy behind us.  Collin asked him, "Have you been on the mermaid ride?  It's SO cute!"

After breakfast we headed to Carsland at California Adventure.

Goofy

We started out our first morning at Disneyland at Goofy's Kitchen where an expensive buffet equalled lots of private time with characters and autographs.  We saw Balooo, Chip, Dale, Goofy, Pluto, Peter Pan, Mulan, and Raffiki (terrifying as a large costume!) and others.  Baba received a special birthday pin.
