Oak Parking It

We choose to live in Oak Park (rather than in Chicago proper) not because it is home to the largest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright structures in the world, nor because of it is the birthplace of Ernest Hemmingway (he hated Oak Park, btw). Not even the the town's clearly unconstitutional ban on "For Sale" and "For Rent" signs attracted us to this place. No, it was the town's abundance of activities and services for children (and parents) that carried the day. Today, we took Collin to Field Park, one of the town's numerous toddler-friendly parks. Clearly, he enjoyed the outing--especially the randomly spraying fountains. T-shirt is from Kylee.

  1. Glad to see the shirt. Collin is smiling so much now! What a doll.
